Stephen Rampur
It is suggested to try playing easy electric guitar songs for beginners only after you are acquainted with the major and minor chords and their relative combinations...
You have learned to play the acoustic guitar, and have been playing the electric guitar for a while now. You are searching for some electric guitar songs to advance in the guitar playing skill.
Before you try your hands on electric guitar songs, it is better if you are well versed with major and minor chord combinations. The chord placements on the fretboard and rhythm techniques are also to be learned, before playing any song.
Remember, all you have to be good in is the coordination of the strumming hand and fretting hand. Without being good in this coordination, you will in no way be able to play songs as they are supposed to be played.

Major and Minor Chords

You can choose any type of song to be played on the guitar. If you are good at playing major chords on the fretboard, make sure the songs have major chords throughout. Simple major chords will enable you to play the guitar along with the songs easily.
On the other hand, if you have become proficient in the minor chords as well, choose any song that has major-minor combinations. Here, you have to ensure that you do not opt for a song that has power chords or other complicated chord combinations. In case you are aware of power chords and other similar techniques, you will probably be able to play any song.
