Good Country Songs

Rahul Thadani
Here is a compilation of some good country songs, in no particular order. As a music genre, country and western music is not overwhelmingly popular, but it does have an extremely loyal and unflinching fan base.
Country music owes its roots to the popular musical traditions from the southern parts of the United States. It began gathering steam in the 1920s, and various genres like Celtic music, gospel music, and folk music began to gain prominence through the good country songs at the time.
Today, country and western music have evolved into a completely different genre, with a large number of sub-styles placed within it. But country musicians still have an undying fan base, and a large majority of music lovers are absolutely crazy about the soft guitar and the western style vocals of this genre.
The songs that are mentioned here may not be all time favorites and may not have garnered as much popularity as has been suggested, but they still remain an integral part of the evolution of country and western music. Over the years, many artists have come and gone, and left their mark in the hall of fame of country music.
