Dylan is hands down one of the greatest musicians to have ever existed. Very few artists invoke such genius and poetic depth in their songs.

“There is not a bigger giant in the history of American music.” said Barack Obama about Dylan when he bestowed him with the highest civilian honor in the country, in 2012.

In an interview in 2004 Dylan commented about changing his name, “Some people – you are born, you know, the wrong names, wrong parents. I mean that happens, you call yourself what you want to call yourself. This is the land of the free.”

Dylan’s self-titled debut album ‘Bob Dylan’ came out on March 19, 1962. It had only 2 original songs by Dylan - 'Song to Woody' and 'Talkin’New York'.

Dylan was born in the port city of Duluth, Minnesota. He was raised in Hibbing, as his family moved from Duluth to Hibbing.

'Blowin’ in the Wind' is one of the greatest songs by Dylan, referred by many as a protest song. The song was added into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1994.

'It’s Alright Ma' is a masterpiece of a song from Dylan’s 5th album: 'Bringing It All Back Home'.

'Chronicles: Volume One' was published on 5th October 2004. In 2020, it listed first on Rolling Stone’s "50 Greatest Rock Memoirs of All Time".

Dylan produced this album himself under the pseudonym "Jack Frost”. Modern Times sold 191,933 copies in its first week of its release.

The Tarantula was written in 1965-66 in a stream of consciousness style, it is an experimental prose poetry collection published by Macmillan & Scribner.
